JOY IN HIS PRESENCE
“But ye are chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
show forth the praises of him who has called you
out of darkness into his marvelous light”
1 Peter 2:9
“You will show me the path of life. In your
presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand are
pleasures forevermore”
Psalm 16:11
Indeed the fullness of joy is in the presence of
God. It is not contained in silver or gold, riches or
splendor, position of authority, or academic
achievements. The fullness of joy is in the presence
of God.
Therefore, let us enter his gate with thanksgiving,
and into his court with praises. Come before his
presence with singing. As you do so, mountains
and hills shall break forth into singing before you,
lines will fall for you in pleasant places because
God dwells in the praises of his people.
